Independence Day – 15 August 2018
15 August is the most memorable day for every
Indian and it has been celebrated all over India as a national festival since
1947 with great zeal. Our mother India was freed from the iron clutches of the
British slavery on 15th August 1947 after a long struggle for 200
years by millions of Indian patriots. It is our prime duty to salute those
freedom fighters with gratitude and serve mother India with patriotism, commitment
and honesty to bring glory to her.
Our school celebrated the 72nd
Independence Day in our school premises on Wednesday, 15 August 2018 with great
love and respect to the country. We invited our VAG India Trust Chairman Sri K.
Channappa as the chief guest to grace the occasion. The VAG Army student
secretary Abhishek Patil warmly welcomed the chief guest Sri. K. Channappa, the
chief of our school Mr. K. Anil Babu, the principal Mr. K. Anil Kumar to the dais.

humbly in the sky. The gathering saluted the National flag by singing the

Cheetah, Jaguar and Panther houses.

a speech in English about the freedom fighter Bina Das. The speech in Kannada given
by Riya R. Ganji about Aacharya Vinobha Bhave, the great patriot, was very heart
touching. Bhaswathi Choudary presented the gathering in Hindi about another
