Event/Activity Name

15 August is the most memorable day for every Indian and is celebrated all over India as the national festival since 1947 with great zeal. Our mother India was freed from the iron clutches of the British slavery on 15 August 1947 after a long struggle for 200 years by millions of Indian patriots. It is our prime duty to salute those freedom fighters with gratitude and serve mother India with patriotism, commitment and honesty to bring glory to her.

Our school celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great love and respect to the country. The theme for the 79th Independence Day of Bharat 2025 is “Aatmanirbhar Bharatiya to achieve Aatmanirbhar Bharat.’’

The programme began with the importance of Independence Day and Tiranga in brief after which the Chairman Sri. K. Channappa hoisted the National flag, which fluttered humbly in the sky. The gathering saluted the National flag and honoured by singing the National Anthem with great adoration followed by the oath of the National Pledge inculcating patriotism, unity, responsibility to realize the vision of New India. A cultural program followed this, where students participated with enthusiasm.

‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, aims in making the country and its citizens independent and self-reliant in all senses. The five pillars of Aatmanirbhar Bharat are Economy, Infrastructure, System, Vibrant Demography and Demand. The theme was presented through variety of cultural activities comprising patriotic songs, classical and western forms of dance and skits in various languages incorporating the message of emphasising on agriculture and embedding the core values of a citizen towards the nation and his family. The performances by students filled the entire arena with the spirit of nationalism.

Our Chief Mr K. Anil Babu motivated the students of our school with his valuable experiences to nurture the ideas of service rendered the agricultural families, which expressed his respect towards farmers and the sufferings faced by them. The celebration manifested the significance of independent Bharat.
