Our Festivals
Foundation Centre I Centre Festival 1 Date: 16 July 2025

Festivals are special days when families and friends come together to celebrate. These festivals are full of colourful decorations, delicious foods, music, dance, colourful clothes and prayers. Some of our festivals are Sankranthi, Ugadi, Dussehra and Deepavali. Each festival has its own special meaning and fun activities.
Festivals are not just about fun and celebrations but also about remembering important stories from Hindu mythology, celebrating virtues like kindness, courage and devotion, strengthening family and community bonds. They are a way to keep our traditions alive and pass them on to future generations. Celebrating these festivals help us to learn about culture and enjoy time with loved ones.
On Wednesday, 16 July 2025, the Foundation Centre - I organised a festival on the theme Our Festivals. The main objective of the festival was to enable the children about the importance of culture and tradition.
The programme comprised of two parts – first the stage performance by the students and second the exhibition.
The programme on the stage was started by lighting the ceremonial lamp by the teachers. The sub-themes of the theme were the Sankranthi, Ugadi, Dussehra and Deepavali. The programme included anchoring, dances and watching video-clips by the students. 80 students took part in this celebration which made it joyful, dazzling and informative to the students.
After the stage performance, students were taken to visit the exhibition where the different pictures, idols of god and goddess, diyas and special food items were displayed. Scenario of each festival celebration were exhibited.
The Centre Festival on the theme – Our Festivals, was a great learning experience for the students to know about the stories of our tradition and makes to be kind, brave and loving.
