School re-opening day Celebration for the Academic Year 2019-2020

           

Centre Festival.

 ‘Divine is everything’. Believing in this, performing pujas and homas with sacred, sincere and pure mind and heart on the reopening day of the school is our custom. It is our culture to begin every academic year by worshipping the Divinity to have tremendous year ahead in achieving excellence in all-round development of every child. This Academic year the school was re-opened on Thursday, 30 May 2019.

  On this occasion, the school was decorated with balloons, flowers and mango leaves to welcome students. On Thursday, 30 May 2019 around 7:35 am, the chief of our school Mr. K. Anil Babu, Mrs. Sowjanya Lakshmi, VAG India trust Chairman Mr. K. Channappa and Mrs. Seshu Channappa and spiritual teacher Ms. Kamakshi arrived to participate and perform Ganesha Homa, Gho (cow) Puja, Saraswathi, Lakshimi Venkateshwara, Anjaneya and Navagraha Shanthi Puja in our school campus to seek the blessings of the divinity for the accomplishment of success to the students. The Veda-mantras chanting was recited while worshipping the divinity, which in turn sowed seeds of devotional attitude in the young minds and hearts. The Students of class 8, 9, and 10, teachers, co-ordinators and staff had also participated in the religious rituals. The Students recited the Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra, Hanumaan Chaalisa and Bhagavad Gita (12 Chapter) to offer prayer to the divinity.

Teachers greeted the children of all classes and directed them to their new classrooms. In the classrooms, there was a good interaction between teachers and students regarding the summer vacation enjoyment and how they strengthened their skills in various activities. Teachers motivated the students for their plan of action to set new goals of their academic achievements.

At the end of the spiritual programme, all the students and staff were blessed with prasadam by the priests followed by delicious lunch. All the students enjoyed themselves and carried the sweet memories of the first day of the school with a smile.
