Pragyana Report 2018 - 2019
On 5 January 2019 before the Sunrise our school
celebrated Pragyana Morning on the occasion of Sri. Swami Paramahansa
Yogananda’s birthday. ‘PRAGYANA’ is the knowledge acquired by means of prarthana or dhyana. Pragyana is the ultimate enlightment. The
school invited Sri. J. C. Rajashekar, Sri. K. Channappa and Smt. K. Seshu Channappa, Sri. N.
Basavaraj and Dr. B.O. Satyanarayana Reddy.
The programme started by lighting the ceremonial lamp followed by
chanting suprabhatham to offer excellent knowledge of the Supreme Truth that
leads to Salvation. The programme was planned in such a way that there was a
brief introduction on the topic after which the chanting of the appropriate
mantra/stotra followed.
The
students chanted Vishnusahasranama Stotra, 8th chapter of Bhagavadgita, Govinda Nama and sang
bhajans. They also chanted Veda Mantra - Sri Ganesha Suktham which unlocks the
secret and sacred inner pathways that lead us to eternal happiness and
wellbeing. It also channelise our efforts towards the correct spiritual
frequencies and energies. Meditation was part of the programme in which the
students meditated for 5 minutes.
Sri. J. C. Rajashekar a
motivational speaker and Certified Soft Skills Trainer and a Youth Committee
Member of Sri. Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram, Ballari, has conducted free
personality development programmes in various subjects like motivation, goal
setting, EPS (Educational and Psychological Studies) and attitude etc., He is also a writer and published the book called Vijayada Satya
Kathegalu. He is honoured by NGOs with A. P. J. Abdul Kalam award for his
selfless social service to the society.
He gave a
brief knowledge about Swami Vivekananda’s journey and educated the children about the importance of time, money and
spirituality that leads for the success of our life.
Finally, Aarathi was performed and everyone took
the blessings of God later prasadam was served.
