‘Prasthan Exhibition’ is a Science Exhibition to showcase the talents of students and to promote creativity. In order to endorse research skills and ignite innovative ideas among students, we organize ‘Prasthan Exhibition’ every year in our school. This is a great opportunity for our students to drive their competencies in thinking, creative and scientific skills. We believe that one should learn science by practical or experimental approach rather than mere reading textbooks or theory.

This exhibition cultivates scientific approach and reasoning skills among the aspirants. This is also a platform for the students to exhibit their models in CBSE Science Exhibition in Regional Level at Bangalore, later in National Level at New Delhi.

Bagging two first prizes at National level CBSE Science Exhibition 2017–2018 in two different themes is a significant milestone for our students’ achievement. This achievement is an inspiration and a benchmark for all other students to dream their goals and strive to fulfil them

On Wednesday, 18 July 2018 and Thursday, 19 July 2018, the student teams of classes VI to IX presented their Projects/Models ardently for the screening test. They were assessed by the respective subject teachers. The best 38 exhibits were selected for ‘Prasthan Exhibition’ out of 110 exhibits in all, as they scored 50%, and above 50% in the assessment.

On Saturday, 21 July 2018, the ‘Prasthan Exhibition’ commenced at 10:00 a.m. by lighting the lamp followed by a welcome speech by the ‘Prasthan Wing’ student leader Miss Saanvi S. Konde of class IX. Later, our Chief, Mr. K. Anil Babu inspired the students with his motivational speech to work hard in their respective fields. The H.O.D. of Physics Department of our school, Mr. Adam Syed stimulated the students by narrating a story and by telling how scientists work hard for success in their experimental projects. The Principal, Mr. K. Anil Kumar advised the students to refer and read the books of science to enhance their researching skills. He declared that the exhibition was open for all.

The exhibition was open for all the students, school parents and well wishers from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This exhibition included still models, working models and study based projects which were innovative and notable. The projects echoed the theme - ‘Innovation for sustainable development’. Some of the models were ‘Eco Cooler’, ‘Automatic Water Alarm’, ‘Green Wood’, ‘Automatic Engine Locking System for drunken drivers’, ‘Innovative Methods of Farming Techniques’.

The visitors went through all the models of the exhibition with curiosity. Students explained the details of their respective models to the visitors enthusiastically and also collected their valuable feedback. Students received critics and compliments from the visitors for their team efforts. These critics and compliments filled zeal in the minds of students to work determinedly in the years to come.

Thus, the ‘Prasthan Exhibition’ was well organized and boosted the confidence levels of our students.
